Short version: your logs and data never leave your device. We don't have a server that can see them, and we don't want one.
Data Sanitizer runs entirely in your web browser. The logs, code, or text you paste in are processed locally on your machine and are never transmitted to us or any third party. We operate no backend that receives, stores, or logs your content. We use no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising, or telemetry.
To remember your preferences, the app may store the following in your own browser's local storage, only on your device: your settings/toggles, your Watch List and custom patterns, a randomly generated device identifier, and (if you purchase Pro) your license key and activation status. You can clear this at any time via the app's controls or your browser settings. None of it is sent to us.
If you activate a Pro license, the app makes a request to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, to verify the key. That request contains only your license key and a random device identifier — never your logs, files, or the content you sanitize. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles your payment details, billing information, and applicable taxes. We never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy shares with us limited order information (such as your email and order id) needed to provide support and licensing.
If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address and message). We use it only to respond to you.
Because we don't collect or hold your personal data beyond what's described above, most requests (deletion, access) relate to information held by Lemon Squeezy as our payment processor. You can contact us at naord25795@gmail.com and we'll help.
The app is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
